Year 2026
Tanzania’s education research ecosystem is constantly evolving, requiring strong
connections between research, policy, and practice. The annual Utafiti Elimu Tanzania
(UET) conference was established to bridge this gap by fostering collaboration among key
stakeholders. Utafiti Elimu Tanzania — meaning “Education Research Tanzania” in Swahili —
brings together policymakers, government officials, national and international researchers,
development partners, and education programme implementers. This evidence-driven,
solution-oriented conference serves as a platform for sharing insights, sparking innovation,
and shaping policies that improve education outcomes across the country.
